Artist Bio: ROCK NEWCOMB

Growing up on a ranch in southern Idaho, Rock Newcomb developed a love of nature and the natural world. He began drawing at age six, and went on to receive advanced degrees in art, and teach art prior to becoming a full-time fine artist. Rock now resides in Arizona with his wife and Business Manager, Cody.

His work can be found in invitational/juried exhibitions and private/corporate collections. His award winning art has been included in several museum exhibitions Including: The Smithsonian Institute of Natural History, the Stockholm Museum of Natural History, the Eiteljorg Museum of the American Indian and Western Art, and is included in the permanent collections of the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and the Phippen Museum. Many publications have featured his work. Signature memberships include the Society of Animal Artists and the International Society of Acrylic Painters.

His works are represented by fine art galleries in Cody and Jackson, WY; Aspen and Telluride, CO; Palm Desert, CA; Tubac, AZ; Santa Fe, NM and Tulsa, OK.
