Artist Bio: LISA DANIELLE
Lisa Danielle - Painting and horseback riding on the out skirts of the beautiful community of Sedona, Arizona, Lisa is living the ideal western lifestyle that provides the experience which compliments her knowledge of the Native American cultures and western heritage portrayed in her paintings. Living between Indian reservations and the great Southwest ranches; surrounded by her horses, Western research library, and an extensive artifact collection, she paints intimate portraits of life in the historic Old West.
These renderings captivate the viewer with their overall richness of design, and intrigue with their attention to the most subtle detail. Her subjects, created by other hands in a different time, enchant us with their beauty. Lisa says, "So fascinating a study is this, really a study of us all, that it is worth a lifetime of exploring in paint".
Lisa's work is featured in Favell's Museum of Art and Artifacts in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and the Leanin Tree Museum in Boulder, Colorado. The latter has published at least 50 of her images as cards, posters, T-shirts, and gift items.
Exhibits at the Nicolaysen Art Museum, the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History, the Denver Stock Show, selected galleries from the West Coast to Chicago have furthered her exposure. Mid West Art magazine designated her, "an artist worth watching" and gave her a featured article. The Hamilton Group published her "Lore of the West" series as collectors plates. Bruce McGaw Graphics is releasing several new prints each year, and her "Paintbrush Ranch Studio" continues to expand its limited edition print line.
