Linda Curley - a native Idahoan, was transplanted to Utah at the tender age of 10. Although she is a mother of seven, she works prolifically as an artist. Her hard work has earned her numerous awards, including the Bertrude Folgerson National Art Award. The most notable award of late is the highly sought after signature status of "OPA" -Oil Painters of America. Linda has participated in; Oil Painters of America National and Regional Shows as well as the International Art Competition Church Museum of Fine Art. In 2001, Linda won Best of Show at the Utah Heritage Days and in 2002, she was named One of Utah's Top 100 Artists.

Linda has taught and studied art extensively on a continuing basis. Her love of rich color and dramatic lighting is obvious in her beautiful paintings that touch the heart and stir the soul. She says she has evolved in her art from exact realism..."every blade of grass"...to a very different vantage point. "It is the emotion and song of art that means the most to me. Ordinary scenes, like people, are around us all the time waiting for the right moment to illuminate their beauty, giving us a rare glimpse of their soul.
