SUBMITTING ARTISTS INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Peppertree Art Show. Artists who wish to submit their artwork for review are asked to send the following information. Please read the following carefully:

  1. Portfolio
    Please send images of your most recent artwork for review. We prefer digital images in jpeg format, however we will accept photos and/or slides. If you plan to send your images in jpeg formats, please send them on disk or email attachments. In order to acknowledge the full potential of an artist, we ask that you send at least 10 examples of your most recent artwork. Please Do Not send images printed on letter paper as we CAN NOT accept them. If you plan to send photos or slides, please write the title, price, and your name on the backs of each image.

  2. Biography Information.
    Please include a list of recent shows, galleries, and events the submitting artist was, or is currently associated with.

  3. Price Structure
    Please show price structure in relation to the size of the artwork created by the submitting artist.

  4. Additional Information
    Please submit any additional information pertinent to the submitting artist's career. This includes; special recognitions, awards, and publications.

  5. Current address and phone number where you can be reached.

Note: All photos and/or slides, along with any artist information sent to the Peppertree Art Show will be kept on file for future references, and will not be returned unless requested by the sending artist. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope if you need your information returned.

Over the past 31 years, we have been fortunate with the success of the Peppertree Art Show. Because of its popularity, we have received many submissions from artists from all over the country requesting to participate. It is our policy to ensure that each one of our shows maintains a delicate balance in the quality of the artwork, subject matter, style, and medium. Therefore, artists are selected based on these attributes. There are no costs associated with an artist submitting their artwork for review, or when invited to participate.

The Peppertree Art Show reserves the right to refuse any artist we feel does not meet our high standards of quality or subject matter. Although there are no deadlines established in submitting artwork for review, artists are normally chosen six months prior to each Peppertree Art Show.
