Irma Eubanks' love for art dates back to her childhood. In fact her whole life has featured artistic activities. Among them, she was many times Michigan Figure Skating Champion and later became a two-time national champion pairs skater. She and her partner were responsible for developing many of the pairs skating moves that you see today. She truly was a pioneer in the skating world. Her artistic abilities led her into the Spanish dancing world, in which she was one of the featured dancers in the Pedro Lorca Flamenco group.
In 1976, a dream came true when she produced the first Peppertree Art Show. This, after several years of planning and dreaming about having a show that was as much a piece of art as the art itself. This dynamic person dove in headfirst and, like with everything she did, not only decided to produce the Peppertree Art Show, but for several years produced two shows per year. Her goal was not to make money, but to foster Western American artists in a venue conducive to quality art. She didn't believe in judging art.
Irma built several relationships between artists and buyers from all over the country and was responsible for the advancement of the careers of many of the top Cowboy and Americana artists in America today.
